Welcome to the February 2015 edition of our Newsletter!

Welcome to our first newsletter for 2015!  We hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas and New Year.  Once again we have another great edition for you; some of our FAILSAFE cooks have been very busy in the kitchen of late, so we have lots of great new recipes.  As the kids have gone back to school, you may need some "lunch box inspiration".  Check out our August newsletter from the archives for some great ideas and tips.  This month we also have some tips and ideas on using up left overs.

Left Overs!

When trying out, or making up new recipes, its quite easy to make too much (or have a lot uneaten if it didn't work out too well!). Left overs can be used on the FAILSAFE / Elimination diet, but you need to be careful with the amine build up in meat.  Freeze any meat leftovers straight away and thaw again when ready to use them.  Use them within four weeks.  

 

So what can you do with left overs on the FAILSAFE diet?  Cooking for Oscar, Domestic Diva and Failsafe Foodie have some ideas!
