Easy Potato Waffles by Rachel

“There are a few recipes around for potato waffles, just thought I’d share my easy peasy version, with my instant dipping sauce.”

At The Failsafe Table: Potato Waffles

Ingredients:
Mashed potato (approx 1 med potato per waffle)
Dried chives, garlic powder, butter and salt to taste
Rice flour – enough to make mix dry enough to form balls

Method: Mix all ingredients and roll into balls. Flatten balls into waffle maker and cook until golden brown.

Instant Dipping Sauce:
Dissolve a few shakes of citric acid in a tiny dash of hot water, add a couple shakes garlic powder and some salt. Add a good squirt of golden syrup and a dash of maple syrup and stir well. You can also add dried chives.
